The aim of the study is to explore how driver’s unfamiliar with advanced driver safety systems, such as ACC, become familiar with its features and its limitations in use through a driving simulator. We investigated whether printed educational materials provided to learners is sufficient for learning about the limitations of ACC, and whether or not there are any differences between young and older drivers.
